Take A Break

Take A Break

F**k POP IDOL, we bring you POL IPOD. There's this generalised idea that nothing good ever comes out of a talent contest, but when Ninja offered out parts from Skalpel's 'Break In' who could have expected that instead of a David Sneddon Mix or a McManus Michellectronica refix we would end up with a heap of absolutely blinding music? In addition to the Grand Winner, Backini (UK), we have excellent mixes from Dr Rubberfunk (UK), Paradowski (Poland) and J (Australia), all of whom show that there is more than one way to make an omelette, or a rhythm-driven atmospheric funker, for that matter. Skalpel themselves break things out and Amalgamation of Soundz blast in another corker of a mix. Available now.
