Pop Levi takes on L.A.

Pop Levi takes on L.A.

Up to now, Pop Levi has been part of the Ninja Tune family as a member of sprawling Liverpool psych-rock collective Super Numeri. When demos of a record-in-progress (in the same orbit as Marc Bolan, Dylan and Van Dyke Parks, for real) were casually placed in our hands, we knew there was no turning back. Lead single 'Blue Honey' will be the first official Pop Levi release on the new Counter Records, with the full album following shortly thereafter. In the meantime, he's moved to Los Angeles with band in tow, and will be doing a series of full-band performances throughout the summer. Check the live page for dates in LA, Orange County and San Francisco (new!), and get thee to poplevi.com to hear the new now sound.
