Loka Live and On Video

Loka Live and On Video

On the night of the 28th of september Loka made their first live appearance in London, at Cargo. The full 8 piece band performed their psyche jazz rock masterpiece 'Fire Shepherds' and one report we've had back said "they were amazing, raw, spitting fire from their guitars, drums and horns". The band are recording a session for Gilles Peterson today which will be broadcast on his show hopefully this weekend.

Also, the Loka video competition we ran has been judged and the winning video for each track off the album will be shown at the Signals International Short Film Festival on the 14th of October. Following the programme Loka will perform a unique set as part of the closing ceremony with support from J. Mountain and the Triggerset VJs.
