Spokes UK Tour

Spokes UK Tour

Spokes will be heading out on the road to play a UK tour in March. Originally from the rolling hills of North East England, which perhaps explains the rustic feel of their reverb-soaked, violin-coated sound, one that has been compared to Canada's Arcade Fire and Do Make Say Think. People Like People Like You is already causing great excitement in the independent press receiving 'album of the week' status on Boomkat and glittering reviews on Don't Panic and Angry Ape. Ones to watch in 2008, their ambitious live performances combine field recordings and accidental noise with a delicate but powerful 5 piece band.

20th March Sneaky Petes Edinburgh 22nd March The Green Room Sheffield 23rd March The Cluny Newcastle 24th March The Roadhouse Manchester 25th March Mad Ferret Preston 27th March Sumo Leceister 28th March Artsdepot (Tally Ho day fest) London 29th March The Packhorse Leeds

People Like People Like You is now available digitally on Counter Records with a physical release coming later in the year.
