The Invisible have released the video for "Protection", the first taste of their upcoming sophomore album Rispah, released 11 June on Ninja Tune. Directed by Mark Glenister and Joe Hunt, Dave Okumu describes the video as, "something which convey(s) a very personal journey through landscapes that (are) at times familiar, unsettling and otherworldly. The song itself is a meditation on protection. It's about knowing how to look after the thing which brings you to a place of safety when faced with danger" - watch the video below.

You can also download a fantastic remix of "Protection" by Kwes. at RCRDLBL right now. A "deep, beautiful, hymnal rework", the band will play with Kwes. at Land Of Kings at the Magnolia next Friday (4 May), tickets here

Finally, the band have also announced a collaboration with King Sunny Ade, an influence on none other than the Rolling Stones and Talking Heads, as part of a British Council-curated series of collaborations in the run-up to the 2012 Olympic Games, connecting British musicians with artists and performers around the world. Part of BT's River of Music, this will be a weekend of free shows, and will find The Invisible performing with King Sunny Ade on 21 July 2012. Head here and here for more information.
