The video for Emika's new single 3 Hours has been premiered on Pitchfork, watch the video above or click here.

The video was directed by Jimmy Edgar, who features in the video and re-worked the track into "Hit Me", also on the single. Not one to do things by halves, he then created another version of the "3 Hours" video with his re-worked audio, check the "Hit Me" video below.

As Emika explains, "'3 Hours' is my original. 'Hit Me' features Jimmy Edgar, his voice, singing, musical style/twist and sound signature. he worked on 'Hit Me' on his own using my vocal also and transformed it into a suitably challenging pop song. Together they make a package which pokes fun at 'mainstream' and 'underground' music.  For me, both these worlds of music are inextricably linked, and one would not exist without the other, ultimately making them the same thing. A bunch of musicians all working on making their own capitalist success by reaching as many people as they can through music...Jimmy took a playful approach to the visual, we made it together in our agent's bedroom in Berlin."

3 Hours is released as a digital download on 13 February, and can be pre-ordered now from the Ninjashop and iTunes.
