DJ Food's 'The Search Engine' returns to SAT in Montreal - Sept 18-Oct 12th

DJ Food - DJ Food's 'The Search Engine' returns to SAT in Montreal - Sept 18-Oct 12th

Back by popular demand, after 5 live performances last July, OSHEAGA Arts and SAT are thrilled to announce a rerun of DJ Food's "The Search Engine." It will take place Sept 18 to Oct 12 inside the Satosphere in Montreal.

Stemming from the world premiere which took place at London’s Planetarium last fall, Strictly Kev aka DJ Food adapted his content to fit the Satosphere in order to provide an unprecedented and immersive phonic and visual experience. The original show, created with the help of astronomers from the Royal Observatory of Greenwich, uses remixes of "The Search Engine" album, images from Kev’s personal archives as well as an array of material provided dome animators as well as by the astronomers themselves.

“The Search Engine’s music juxtaposes itself to stunning visuals...A truly inspired and inspiring show that will send you into outer space right away.” - Sorstu.ca

“This was perhaps the greatest musical and visual experience I've ever seen, a mind-blowing and necessary experience for anyone who claims to love art. Take your kids (I did), take your parents, take a stranger. JUST GO!” - Jeremy Ron, a happy fan
The Search Engine’s immersive screenings, using the sophisticated technology of SAT’s 360 dome, will transport you into a musical and visual universe that has never been experienced before. Watch CBC's fantastic video and Q&A to get a better idea of what's in store.
