Machinedrum Signs to Ninja Tune

Machinedrum Signs to Ninja Tune

Ninja Tune are very excited to announce that Travis Stewart aka Machinedrum has joined our roster.

We've been massive fans of Machinedrum for years and whatever style he's doing, he never fails to impress with his unmistakably precise and relentlessly forward-looking production that is as effective on headphones as it is live. It's an absolute honour to work with him as he develops all elements of his sound and vision for the next stage of his career.

"Really excited about working with Ninja Tune," said the Berlin-based American producer. "I've been a fan for years and am honored to be releasing my work alongside some personal heroes and innovators in music."

To celebrate the union, Machinedrum joined the likes of Bonobo, The Bug and Toddla T and others for a special, unannounced set at the Ninja Tune SXSW showcase last night in Austin, Texas.

More info will follow in the coming months, in the meantime read an exclusive Billboard interview with Travis and Ninja Tune MD Peter Quicke here.
