Roundhouse Festival Details Released

Bonobo - Roundhouse Festival Details Released

We're happy to announce further details of what's in store at the Ninja Tune & Bonobo Festival at London's Roundhouse on 18 May - read on for all details of who's playing, where and when!

MAIN SPACE

The Main Space will play host to Adam Buxton's BUG: Ninja Tune special (more below), along with the day's headline artists - The Invisible, a secret Special Guest, Gilles Peterson and, of course, the full Bonobo live band!

First presented at BFI Southbank as part of our XX celebrations, a special edition of BUG at the Roundhouse will reflect more than 20 years of our audio/visual output.  Hosted by the brilliant Adam Buxton – comedian, writer, broadcaster, video director, general music video enthusiast and YouTube comment wrangler – this show promises a selection of some favourite Ninja Tune videos and recent additions – with Adam’s own inimitable presentation and, in true BUG style, some delightfully unbalanced commentary from YouTube commentators.

THE HUB
Installation: The Cube

Soundtracked by sets from some of the hottest DJs in the country, The Mustard Shop creates immersive, interactive, installations that invite the audience to go on a journey and experience our augmented new reality.

As Marshall McLuhan famously stated, “The Medium is the Message”. The Cube is an extension of our central nervous system, that demonstrates our movement from the linear, ordered mechanical world into the dynamic, immersive electronic and digital age.

When new media is introduced it enhances, reverses, retrieves and obsolesces the landscape. The Cube demonstrates this tetrad by looking through the rearview mirror as both our minds and bodies are making the switch from the ordered linear mechanical world into the immersive dynamic digital age.

  • 2 - 3pm - Dauwd (Live)
  • 3 - 4.30pm - Lukid (DJ Set)
  • 4.30pm - Bullion (DJ Set)

STUDIO THEATRE
Hosted by the Boiler Room, Broadcasting Live

Plus a live Solid Steel radio broadcast, throughout the day.

Tickets for the festival have now sold out.
