Ninja songster John Matthias has been laying kind of low as-of-late but he's emerging from the woodwork to play a couple great shows in March. The first will be a solo performance on the 17th in New York at The Living Room. He'll also be in New York the next night (March 18th) where he'll be doing a slightly different show at Le Poisson Rouge. This "Cortical Songs" show will feature music written for a string ensemble by John Matthias and Nick Ryan. From there it's down to Austin, Texas for SXSW where Mr. Matthias will be playing at the Tap Room on March 21st , which will be another "Cortical Songs" performance. So go get your tickets to one or all of the shows because they're shaping up to be amazing performances.
