Posted on 21/04/2012

Today is Record Store Day, an event set up to shine a light on independent music stores. All of the independently owned record stores come together with artists to celebrate, with special vinyl and CD releases made exclusively for the day.

In support of Record Store Day 2012 DJ Food has selected 'The Illectrik Hoax' featuring Natural Self to be remixed by two Food favourites - 2econd Class Citizen and The Amorphous Androgynous (aka The Future Sound of London). This is released TODAY on multi-coloured 12" vinyl and limited stocks will be available in the Ninjashop on Monday 23rd April.

DJ Food aka Strictly Kev, will also be playing in his local used vinyl emporium, Rat Records, in Camberwell SE5 from midday today and they will have a box of the 12"s plus 10 copies of the limited comic book / flexi disc edition of 'The Search Engine'.

Here is small list of stores taking part, other participating stores can be found here.
