Young Fathers - Debut Album 'DEAD' Out Now on Big Dada / Anticon

DEAD is the brilliant debut album from Alloysious, G and Kayus otherwise known as Young Fathers.

The 11-track full-length, which features previously released singles "LOW" and "GET UP", described by NME as a "soundtrack to a Dystopian carnival", is available worldwide today on LP, CD and digitally from the Big Dada, iTunes and Amazon as a collaborative release between Big Dada and West Coast indie Anticon.

You can call it hip hop or rap, but the Edinburgh based trio of Liberian, Nigerian and Scottish heritage sing more than they chat. There's the suburbs and the cities of Grey Britain in there, but also Africa, an obsession with the surface texture of sound, the psychedelicist’s love of noise.

Young Fathers embark on their UK and European tour this month with a US and Canadian sting supporting Baths slated for April.
