Big Chillin'

Big Chillin'

It's festival season once again, which means it's time for the Ninja massive to pack their tents, and head to the hills (Malvern, that is) for another glorious Big Chill Festival (August 1st-3rd). As well as Chillers favourite Mr Scruff, there are more Ninja's on the bill than you can shake a tent peg at.

Mixing it up at the Sauza Tent, with another rollicking extravaganza of all things fun and funky are the sensei's of four-deck tricknology, DJ Food and DK. Zen master Jon More will be teaching the kids what time it is once more, and Robin, one half of AV maestro's Hexstatic, will be getting down and dirty with a party rocking DJ set.

The bionic zit-splitter himself, Roots Manuva will be making a long overdue return to the Big Chill, with a little help from DJ MK, and Big Dada new boy, Xrabit will be losing his Chill cherry. All this, plus a jaw dropping live show from everyone's favourite Victorian dandy-man, Daedelus, who'll be joining The Mighty Boosh, DJ Krush, Flying Lotus, DJ Vadim, and Kid Acne on what's fast shaping up to be the line-up of the summer. Sprinkle on some dubstep, from afro-warrior Benga, musical comedy from self-proclaimed 'confused hippy' Bill Bailey, and a very special tribute to the Godfather of Soul from the stellar Still Black, Still Proud and you've still barely scratched the surface of this multi-media event.

The full line-up can be found here , and if you can't wait for a taste of what's to come, then click here here for an exclusive free 80 minute selection of tracks by artists performing at this years festival.
