Solid Steel in association with Serato (9th March)

Coldcut open on a jazz tip, with Portico Quartet and move onto music from Archie Pelago, Focus Tree and Traffic. Dub sounds feature from Big Youth, Gunn Sound and the Gregory Issac Allstars, with a little addition from Missy Elliott and Amy Winehouse, before we end with the excellent West Norwood Cassette Library.

In hour 2, DJ Format, fresh from releasing his new album, Statement of Intent, drops science including a very rare Edan 7", a DJ Soul Shock cut from '88 and a "crazy Soviet record" (his words) amongst new cuts from Beta Hector and Mr Chop. 

Strictly Kev is on a rock trip this week which sees Steinski tear Hendrix a new one, Pepe Deluxé take the world by storm and finishes with a killer cut from Format's new LP, making it all nice and neat.
