Solid Steel Radio 18-07-14 - Logos & Damiano Von Erckert

Logos is our guest in Hour 1 this week treating us to music from Oneohtrix Point Never, PiL, Plasticman and some upcoming releases. This is what he had to say;

"I really enjoyed constructing this mix for Solid Steel, which is a blend of the stuff I listen to a lot at home and some banging material you might catch me playing in the club. Look out for a couple of tracks from the forthcoming EP of weightless material on Different Circles, which is the new label me and Mumdance are launching shortly, along with a track from my forthcoming split EP with Rabit on Glacial Sound. Thanks to all the artists and enjoy."

Damiano Von Erckert takes over in Hour 2 for another fine selection. The AVA record label owner touches on some classic house from Marshall Jefferson, 2 Young Brothers and Mood II Swing, plus some of his own unreleased tracks. He says;

"My Solid Steel mix is kind a like a 'best of' collection of tracks I have been playing in my DJ shows the last few months. A lot of the club music in here also hold memories and experiences I’ve made in the last couple of years, so it’s very personal for me. Some of it was inspiration for my own productions as well. The mix should get you in the right mood to go to a party or just have a good time at your place or work space, I hope you’re gonna enjoy it and don’t forget to support good music!"
