A Crock Of Gold

A Crock Of Gold

Chris Bowden returns with a killer remix EP. Two sets of longtime collaborators take the angular rhythms and astral string arrangements of 'Crockers & Killers' in completely new directions. First up, The Easy Access Orchestra take us out to Rio with a lovely samba swinger, smoothing things out into a perfect summer number. Then Palmskin Productions harden up the break and stretch out the vocals, giving the whole thing an almost classic Mo'Wax feel. The whole is completed by an edit of the original tune, which sounds like no one but Bowden himself - a true original.
