Dobie - 'We Will Not Harm You' Exhibition/ Private View

In the late 80s and early 90s, as well as beginning to forge a production career with the likes of Soul II Soul and London Posse, Tony Campbell aka Dobie was one of the key documenters of the youth subcultures of the day, particularly the skaters of London's Southbank and beyond and the breakers who congregated at Covent Garden.

To tie in with the release of his solo album for renowned record label Big Dada, 18 Hewett Street Gallery presents an exhibition of some of his most iconic shots. Featuring stars of the skate world such as Steve Caballero, Bod Boyle, Neil Blender (many originally shot for the cover of legendary UK skate mag R.a.D.) plus giants of hip hop including The Fearless Four and Whodini, the exhibition will feature prints and a rolling slide show. A private view/album launch on the evening of Thursday February 7th will also feature a DJ set from Dobie, playing selections from his new album.

Dobie's forthcoming album - We Will Not Harm You is available to pre-order now on 2LP/CD/DL at the Ninjashop.
