On Big Dada

Dobie is a legendary figure in Black British music. From working on the first two Soul II Soul albums, he went on to produce London Posse's all-time classic "How's Life In London?" before recording a solo LP for Pussyfoot, "The Sound Of One Hand Clapping". In between he has remixed everyone from Bjork, Massive Attack, Les Negress Vertes, Tricky to Gangstarr and recorded for a host of labels including Brownswood and BBE. In addition, his career as a skate photographer led to endless covers for classic UK skate magazine R.a.D. He released two EPs for Big Dada in 2012 and an album, "We Will Not Harm You" in early 2013.
