Coldcut have just completed a UK tour featuring their own developed software -- VJamm (available via the netshop) and DJamm (Y2K launch). As NME recently put it: "they've gone audiovisual, melding crashing waves, cartoons, berserker beats and whatever else is stored on their laptop computers." Coldcut wanna thank everyone who came out to all the shows from Brighton to Glasgow. And a big big thank you to Steinski who extended his UK trip to join Coldcut at the Shepherds Bush Empire & give us pre-sKool knowledge - Steinski was so vibed he jumped the tour bus the next day for Brighton, did a bit of record hunting in the home of beats by the beach & jammed with Coldcut and the Kid for a wicked end to a night in Brighton beats.... Kid Koala - who has emerged from from hip hop's revived love affair with the turntable - dropped bombs and jaws in every town through the UK -- Those of you that got to see him got a preview of the new lps muZical selection which is comin at ya February 2000. If you got to any of the gigs early, Cabbageboy and Dynammic Syncopation filled in the Ninja Spaces. After December 10th My Nose Is Killing Me for Save The Rhino, Coldcut & Ninja Tune are gonna be stealth movin into new sized HQ's and someone with a lotta little elves will be puttin' up shelves and making studio walls, and patchin' in all the wires while everyone is gettin ready for Y2K.
