The highly anticipated body of work will feature collaborations with New York singer/producer Mac Ayers, UK risers James Smith and Maya Delilah, longtime friend and collaborator Carmody, and London newcomers ELSAS and Lily Agnès.

Today's official announcement of 'Collage 2' arrives alongside the release of new single "Sunflower" (with Max Pope). The release unites Max Pope's soulful, unique vocal with Conor Albert's crisp, beat-driven production; beaming with positivity, as the pair muse on the change of seasons.
Speaking on how the track and collaboration came together, Conor commented: "Last year my label was asking me to start doing live streams on Twitch, which is something I'd always wanted to do. The way I learned production myself was from watching other Twitch streamers, so I figured this would be a great way to share my process. Sunflower is the product of the first ever livestream I did, where I put on a 1 hour timer and made a song from scratch with Max. Because the song was made under a time pressure, everything was completely spur of the moment and instinctive, which is often the best way to write music in my experience! After that initial Twitch stream we had one more session on it to tweak a few little things but the vast majority of it was done in that one hour. I'm planning on posting the full stream to YouTube so people can watch the whole process, so stay tuned for that!"
Upcoming mini-album 'Collage 2' is a continuation of the work that began with Conor's 2020 debut EP 'Collage 1'. The new project presents a confident and exciting step forward, traversing synth-pop, hip-hop beats, groove-laden soul, jazz-flecked instrumentals, blues-licked indie pop and everything in-between.

Speaking on what fans should expect from the mini-album, Conor said: "Across 'Collage 2' there's a greater focus on collaboration, even more so than on Collage 1. I've enlisted the help of many of the new friends I've made since my first EP to make the best possible project I can. I'm super excited."

A self-taught multi-instrumentalist, 22 year-old Conor Albert started making beats at the age of 8, finding an audience for his early demos on SoundCloud. It was listening to FKJ and Jordan Rakei whilst learning piano in his teens that encouraged him to make the soulful, jazz influenced music he's now widely known for.

To date, Conor has released two EPs: 2020's 'Collage 1' and 2021's 'Smile' in collaboration with fellow riser and Young Poet-signee Alice Auer. Now with over 15 million accumulative streams across his releases to date, the music has been championed by BBC Radio 1 (Jack Saunders' Future Artists, Sian Elery’s Chillest Show), BBC Radio 2 (Jamie Cullum), as well as key tastemaker press including The Independent, The Line Of Best Fit, Notion, Clash Magazine, EARMILK, New Wave Magazine, Guitar World, Vogue Paris and more.

Conor’s playing and beat-making, showcased via his series of compelling loop videos, has earned him more than 250K followers across all platforms. In that time he's worked alongside artists including Griff, Priya Ragu, Zak Abel, Tom Misch, Disclosure amongst others - receiving glowing co-signs from Questlove, Timbaland, Justin Bieber, Zane Lowe and more along the way.

Conor Albert's new mini-album 'Collage 2' is out April 29th via Ninja Tune / Young Poet, with new track "Sunflower" (with Max Pope) out now.
