I Did You Wrong
(Laurence Guy Remix)
by Harry Hayes

— Released 20th May 2026 on Technicolour

Sydney-based DJ and producer Harry Hayes, one of the most exciting new voices in electronic music, shares a remix of “I Did You Wrong”, from London based DJ and producer Laurence Guy who delivers his own take on the club-ready anthem - one he’s supported in his own sets.

“Laurence Guy, in my humble opinion, is the king of chopping up soul samples, which is a prominent feature of I Did You Wrong. So once Laurence and I became internet buddies, it felt gleamingly obvious he was the man to ask for remix duties”, Harry comments. “This remix is everything I had hoped for, slightly more club focused with beautifully chopped soul samples”.

Supported elsewhere by the likes of Fred again.. and Caribou, the original release of  “I Did You Wrong” - shared earlier this year on Technicolour - quickly found its way to some of the world’s biggest dance floors including Fred again..’s USB show in Lyon, and then again at his USB002 show in New York.

Harry Hayes is becoming known for his carefully constructed arrangements and rhythms, infusing pop-inspired melodies, ambient soundscapes and dynamic club elements, with influences spanning house, UKG, indie, jungle and French touch.
