Due 22nd November, the EP will include remixes of the album’s standout tracks “Mutations,” “Call It Love” and two interpretations of “Like I Say (I runaway).” Alongside the announcement, she shares a first glimpse into the forthcoming project with a remix of “Just A Western” from underground electronic group Boy Harsher who balance their signature 80’s minimal wave edge and immersive sound with Nilüfer’s introspective lyrics. The EP will also include remixes by Empress Of, MorMor x Lesser, Jam City and more.
Boy Harsher shares about the remix, “We tried to lean into a Chris Isaak situation here. Nilüfer’s vocals are so smokey and cool, but with a hint of sadness and longing. It was a real pleasure to take this apart and put it back together.”
