The final EP concludes a diverse collection of underground interpretations of the original project by USA heavyweights Harrison Mills and Clayton Knight of ODESZA and ARIA-platinum artist Tom Stell of Golden Features. In keeping with the earlier EPs in the series, ‘Remixes Nº3’ embodies the mix of innovative, leftfield electronics that inspired the BRONSON sound, while simultaneously infusing a new energy into the original works.
Opening with Set Mo’s version of ‘HEART ATTACK’, the duo amplify the single’s emotive nature with a heightened tempo and soft harmonies, complementing lau.ra’s vocals. Krystal Klear provides another interpretation of the track, creating a remix that features futuristic soundscapes and an off-kilter melodic arrangement. Riton’s rework of ‘KEEP MOVING’, meanwhile, accentuates the dark undertones and industrial sonics of the original. The EP also includes breakbeat influences, with Eats Everything’s ‘DAWN’ remix featuring gritty synths and instrumentation evoking a classic rave feel, while BBC “Future Artist” TSHA rebuilds ‘KNOW ME’, with touches of acid house and lo-fi filtering.
BRONSON will make their BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix debut on 3rd April. The unmissable two-hour mix will broadcast from midnight to 2am for the BBC’s prestigious series.
BRONSON released their critically-acclaimed debut album in July 2020 earning widespread support from music tastemakers such as Zane Lowe, Annie Mac, Pete Tong, John Digweed and Anja Schneider, reaching upwards of 66 million streams in just a few months after its release. The previous EPs include remixes by an array of acclaimed names such as Skream, HAAi, Patrick Topping, O’Flynn and Prospa.
