corto.alto – AKA multi-instrumentalist producer, composer and performer Liam Shortall – returns with his first new music of 2026: “WHODIS”, a collaboration with Chicago-based rapper Mick Jenkins.

The track continues to showcase the new frontier of corto.alto music, which has seen him release a number of singles over the past year including “APRIL”, featuring London-based, French-Senegalese singer anaiis, “VANDAL”, a collaboration with Moses Yoofee, and the bombastic ‘DON’T LISTEN’. 

As with those releases “WHODIS” displays another distinct side to the corto.alto project, and sees Shortall stepping into J Dilla territory with a hard-swinging hip-hop beat for Jenkins to flow over. Speaking about the collaboration he says, “That’s why I reached out to someone like Mick Jenkins, who I’ve listened to forever.. I’m entering a different world with this music.”
