Making one of its first appearances at Mixmag’s The Lab LDN last year, “Hopecore” incorporates a complementary  balance of club-facing banger and trance-infused euphoria. It also offers a peek into a larger project currently in the works for Seinfeld, who says, ”I’ve been assembling sounds and writing out ideas for my next album, and I wanted to give out a teaser of what that process has been sounding like.”

The single follows on from “If U Like Me”, along with collaborative tracks with Kungs on “Please Be Mine” (via Club Azur), SG Lewis on “Simple Times” (via Forever Days) and 2023 viral hit “Now U Do” with electro pop duo Confidence Man. The latter received endless praise, peaking as BBC Radio 1’s most played song, where it held 4 consecutive months in the UK Top 200 Shazam Chart and secured a spot on the BBC Radio 1’s A-List, plus Danny Howard's named it ‘Hottest Record’. Mixmag listed it as one of their ‘Best Tracks of the Year 2023 So Far’, and was included in lists by Notion and Nialler9, with The Guardian including the track in their in-print playlist.

DJ Seinfeld will also hold a homecoming show at The Pavillion in Malmö Sweden 29th November, marking  the first of an ongoing residency series that will continue into 2025, each featuring appearances from friends and special guests. Shortly after his North American tour, DJ Seinfeld will support Fatboy Slim at a run of outdoor shows throughout Australia in March 2025.

This continues an unstoppable year for Seinfeld, which include highlights like his standout Coachella performance across both weekends, London’s iconic Drumsheds venue (recorded for a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix) and at Rinse FM and 6 Music Festival DJing B2B with label friends Prospa and salute respectively. Another notable moment of 2024 included Boiler Room Sydney, where Seinfeld dropped his own edit of Burial’s iconic single “Archangel” and sparked huge online discussion when a clip of the edit “set the internet on fire”). The remainder of the year is indeed busy for Seinfeld, with additional DJ dates in London, Belfast and Dublin.

“Hopecore” is out now on Ninja Tune with more music to come.
