For a band who have released just a handful of tracks to date, Fcukers — the trio made up of Shanny Wise (vocals), Ben Scharf (drums) and Jackson Walker Lewis (bass, keys, production) — have already carved out a fierce and growing reputation as one of the most exciting acts operating out of NYC today.

Released alongside news of their signing to Ninja Tune imprint Technicolor is their brand new and highly anticipated single ‘Bon Bon’.

Through two self-released singles “Mothers” and “Devils Cut”, and a choice remix of the James Murphy-featuring "Los Angeles", Fcukers have spent the past year quietly building a young and hungry fanbase throughout NYC and beyond, with touring already under their belts in six different countries across five continents, including SXSW Sydney, Tokyo, and numerous sold-out shows in London and New York.

Their high-energy live shows — usually announced last-minute, often spread via word of mouth alone, and always sold-out — have already earned them a number of notable fans including Beck, Julian Casablancas, Yves Tumor and Clairo who all attended their sold-out show at Brooklyn’s legendary Market Hotel last September; Dom Dolla who enlisted the band to DJ at his Portola Festival after party; and Matt Wilkinson who described them as “possibly the most in-demand band in New York at the moment” following their standout week of shows at this years SXSW Festival. A trip which saw them emerge as one of the most talked about bands in attendance where they performed at showcases with Creem Magazine and Perfectly Imperfect amongst others, and saw NME naming them one of the “10 essential new acts you need to see” at the festival.

On top of their own headline shows — which are frequently situated in off-the-radar venues like last month’s sold-out party in the unfinished swimming pool SAA Brooklyn — the band have also been tapped for high-profile support slots, including a five-date run for Jockstrap, a set at Avalon Emerson’s 9000 Dreams curated show, and opening for George Clanton and Confidence Man on their NYC dates. They also recently jumped on The Lot Radio for a session with Derrick Gee which included an impromptu on-air interview with Baauer. The band have also seen early radio support from the likes of BBC’s Steve Lamacq, Arielle Free, Jack Saunders; and played a guest mix for Triple J’s Mix Up series with Kailyn Crabbe.
