“‘Chasing The Light’ is a track I composed last summer in Montreal specifically for the “Working Class Woman” tour. It’s a fast and energizing musical journey that is meant to keep you moving from start to finish. I’m particularly happy about the many melodic sequences and the bass line on this one. It’s my take on Trance music, but as with everything I do, I try not to pastiche a style but only take the references that inspire me to make something on my own terms. The foundation of the track was recorded at Nadel Eins Studio in Berlin, and the mixing and overdubs were done in Montreal with the help of Pierre Guerineau. It’s my final effort regarding Club music, as I’m ready to move on to a new project that is very dear to me, but before making this shift, I still have many touring dates on my agenda, so I hope to see you somewhere, chasing the light.”

Completing the 12” are the Soulwax remix of ‘Work It’ - named Annie Mac’s 'Hottest Record In The World’ and Mixmag’s ’38 Best Tracks Of 2019 So Far’ - and the “raw and syncopated acid techno” (Resident Advisor) of Daniel Avery’s remix of ‘Lara’. Both available on vinyl for the first time. The release follows remixes by Nina Kraviz, John Talabot and Afrodeutsche and Silent Servant in recent months.

“Working Class Woman” - released on Ninja Tune in 2018 - drew high praise from the likes of The Guardian (“one of the biggest pleasures in contemporary electronic music”), Pitchfork (“a record slated in a milieu of chaos, loftiness, and beauty”), Resident Advisor (“Davidson's catchiest material to date”), and the New York Times - who singled out ‘Work It’ as “a minor anthem [from] one of the best dance records of the year” in their recent list of “25 Songs That Matter Right Now" - similar praise came from Mixmag, Crack Magazine, FACT, Pop Matters, The Quietus, Bandcamp and many more.
