Following his OUTLIER debut with “Fanga” and “Jera,” New York-based DJ and producer Narasimha has unveiled his newest single, “Dekki,” a collaboration with Maryama Cham, Barhama and Magatte Fall. 

Meaning “resurrection” in Wolof, “Dekki” was inspired by a profound spiritual experience Narasimha had while living in The Gambia, during which he experienced life as a continuous, moment-to-moment cycle of death and rebirth. This idea is reflected in the song’s lyrics (“Life brings Death, and Death brings Life”) and carried through its hypnotic, continually evolving production.
