NASAYA AND MARO SHARE NEW SINGLE ‘I SEE IT COMING’ AND ANNOUNCE FORTHCOMING EP “PIRILAMPO” OUT 20TH AUGUST ON FOREIGN FAMILY COLLECTIVE

Inspired by an eclectic upbringing in Reunion Island, producer and multi-instrumentalist NASAYA is a well-rounded electronic crossover artist. Following their collaborative single ‘TEMPO’ NASAYA teams up with Portuguese multi-hyphenate MARO to announce their forthcoming EP “PIRILAMPO”. They also share the EP’s lead single ‘I SEE IT COMING’ - a catchy, colorful indie-crossover number which will be accompanied by a striking video premiering on Youtube directed by MESKA.

“This is also one of my favorite songs I’ve ever made. I love how imperfect and warm this song feels (the main synth/piano part comes from an old voice memo from Maro pitched/chopped up). We experimented recording a million different vocal doubles/harmonies that ended up feeling like the “Bee Gees’ choir” that you can hear in the chorus”. - NASAYA

“I SEE IT COMING is one of the most fun songs I’ve ever written, alongside NASAYA. It’s joyful and sunny, with underlayers of some of our musical references, like Supertramp and Bee Gees”. - MARO

Berklee College Of Music graduate and multi-dimensional musician NASAYA brings a refreshing bravado to the indie-electronic landscape. Born and raised by the way of Reunion Island, NASAYA draws influence from the ethnically diverse culture of his homestead. Inspired by the breeze and easy-going nature of the French island, his musical influence draws from jazz, dance music, pop, and even classic rock. With releases on Majestic Casual, Concord Records, and now Foreign Family, NASAYA’s colorful sound is home to some of music’s finest tastemakers. With support from media heavyweights by the likes of Pigeons & Planes, Ones To Watch, BBC Radio 1, Triple J, and many more, NASAYA has proven himself to be a proper crossover act. With a celebrated repertoire including hit singles like ‘Stuck In A Bubble’ and ‘PATTERNS’, and official remixes for Broods, Tim Atlas, and The Rubens, NASAYA’s latest single ‘TEMPO’ added an enthralling flair to his already impressive catalog. His co-write on ‘TEMPO’ came from Portuguese vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and composer MARO. A fellow Berklee College of Music Graduate, MARO was just excitedly added to Quincy Jones’s management roster in addition to garnering the attention of Justin Timberlake, Jessie J, Tracy Chapman, Lennon Stella, and many more. A welcome addition to Jacob Collier’s live band, MARO toured alongside the English musician as a featured vocalist and instrumentalist.
