Creative force Róisín Murphy first became known in the 1990s as one-half of Moloko, before embarking on a solo career that has revealed her wonderfully idiosyncratic music, fashion, and performance sensibilities. Murphy’s decorated solo career spans 5 lauded albums alongside collaborations with Matthew Herbert, Eddie Stevens, DJ Parrot & Maurice Fulton. Murphy has picked up nominations for the Mercury Music Prize and Ireland's Choice Music Prize. Her thirst for running with playful and adventurous new identities has given us enthralling tracks merging classic pop hooks, electronica, house and disco, and her shape-shifting visual persona never ceases to provoke and delight in equal measure.

As Murphy embarks on a new chapter of her career, signing to the revered label Ninja Tune, she releases “CooCool”, produced by electronic music auteur DJ Koze. It once again subverts expectations and conquers new territories, multi-dimensional, genre-melding and alluringly soulful.

Continuously pushing boundaries in both recording and live-settings, Murphy’s capacity to be an ever-evolving performer is a spectacle in itself from live-streamed lockdown events to headline appearances at Glastonbury West Holts Stage, homobloc, Brixton Academy, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, Coachella and Primavera Sound. Her Royal Albert Hall show sold out in 24 hours.

Beyond the music and creative direction, Murphy is a podcast host and most recently actor in Netflix series ‘The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself’
